Recently a project I’ve been working on was published on Amazon! It’s a study aid meant to help students ace the vocabulary section of the SAT or GRE. You can check it out here. There are also E-book versions of each individual section available.
I want to thank Marika Purena for nominating me for this award! For those of you who are visiting my blog for the first time, I’m based in Seattle and starting out a career in journalism. I write about social justice, feminism and world affairs (or any combination of those things).
You’ve probably heard the notion that left-brained people are logical and mathematical thinkers, while right-brained people lean more toward creativity. Whether or not this theory has actual credibility is questionable, but I don’t think we need concrete scientific evidence to tell us that some people tend to be more formulaic and some tend to be creative.
I fall into the latter group, and it’s simultaneously a blessing and a curse.
Due to recent actions by a certain publication, I am requesting anyone interested in re-posting any of my material to please ask permission before doing so. I am more than happy to share in most cases, but with proper recognition (and compensation if deemed appropriate). Thank you for your cooperation.
